Our Story
Home Help Scotland began as a simple cleaning company with one mission: to help people regain the comfort of a clean and organised home. From the very start, we saw how much a refreshed space could positively impact someone’s life—whether easing daily stress, restoring a sense of dignity, or providing a fresh start for those facing overwhelming circumstances.
As we worked with more clients, we realized that many people weren’t just struggling to keep their homes clean—they were struggling with life itself. Mental health challenges, disabilities, financial hardship, and unexpected crises left families feeling trapped in chaotic living conditions with no way out. We saw firsthand how a cluttered home could affect emotional well-being, and we knew we had to do more than just clean—we had to create a real support system.
That realisation led us to expand our mission beyond cleaning. We evolved into a social enterprise, offering free cleaning services to people in need. To ensure we reached those who needed us the most, we partnered with government bodies, social workers, and family support organisations—building a network of care that allowed us to provide assistance where it was most critical.
Today, Home Help Scotland is recognised as a leading charitable organisation, dedicated to restoring comfort and dignity to individuals and families across the country.
